Sketch N Stash Challenge Card

OK, This is my first entry into any online challenge. It is obvious I need to learn how to take a better picture of my card. You can still see my brown table in the background. This challenge required the participants to us neglected materials from their stash. I chose some old beach themed Heidi Grace papers. Then I selected some funky ribbon that I always liked , but never used. Lastly, I pulled out some old Stampin Up stamps and used gold embossing powder to create my embellishments. I had fun trying the challenge and hope I successfully add it to the challenge page. Wish me luck.

This page was created in memory of my Godmother, my Aunt Ellie. She was a bundle of fun. We will all miss the life of the party. She was a very special lady.

This card from the class uses the new Tim Holtz Sizzix die (Street Sign). Just plain cute. If you like these cards there is another class for Christmas cards on Sunday, October 10th. Come join us at Absolutely Everything.

(Ignore the crazy date by my camera....ignore the date behind the curtain) Here are two more cards from the class. I like the dots on the paper at the top. We just used a simple dobber and some ink, but it added so much to the card. The second card was fairly simple without any special techniques. Both had my favorite glitter, but it doesn't show in the picture.

I took a great class on Northwoods Stamps at Absolutley Everything today. Here are two of the Halloween cards we made. The top one is embossed in black and the middle tiger costume is pop dotted up to stand out. I like the glittered moon.

This second card was fun. We received the stamp with the class. I'll have to think of some creative ways to use it. (School gals, how about do, dah, and ditzy?)

This is one of my favorite pages. I love the colors and soft flowers. Joanna looks beautiful!

Such fun being able to participate in getting ready with all the girls. Something the mother of boys really misses.
