This card from the class uses the new Tim Holtz Sizzix die (Street Sign). Just plain cute. If you like these cards there is another class for Christmas cards on Sunday, October 10th. Come join us at Absolutely Everything.

(Ignore the crazy date by my camera....ignore the date behind the curtain) Here are two more cards from the class. I like the dots on the paper at the top. We just used a simple dobber and some ink, but it added so much to the card. The second card was fairly simple without any special techniques. Both had my favorite glitter, but it doesn't show in the picture.

I took a great class on Northwoods Stamps at Absolutley Everything today. Here are two of the Halloween cards we made. The top one is embossed in black and the middle tiger costume is pop dotted up to stand out. I like the glittered moon.

This second card was fun. We received the stamp with the class. I'll have to think of some creative ways to use it. (School gals, how about do, dah, and ditzy?)

This is one of my favorite pages. I love the colors and soft flowers. Joanna looks beautiful!

Such fun being able to participate in getting ready with all the girls. Something the mother of boys really misses.

Just a few more of my card4cancer.
After the rehearsal, we all boarded trolleys and took a ride to Margiannos for the rehearsal dinner. It was a hot sunny day and the open air ride was fun.

This page from my scrapbook is of the rehearsal at St. Ignasius Church at Boston College. Joanna, the bride, earned her undergrad degree there and my son, Adam earned his Masters degree there. So they chose this location specifically.

Another scrapbook entry from my son's wedding. My lovely daughter-in-law, Joanna, invited me to her bachelorette party in Boston. I had a great time sharing the joy with all her friends, her mom, and her aunt.
More Cards4Cancer. My friend Patty was able to collect cards from many people. She did a great job organizing and collecting for our local cancer center.

Adam and Joanna had a Mexican themed shower at her parents house. It was a beautiful sunny summer day. Everyone had a great time.

I have been working on the wedding album of my son Adam and his wife Joanna. The first two page layout is their engagement. He proposed to her in Harper's Ferry Virginia. Obviously she said, "Yes! " He called me to tell me the news and of course, I was scrapbooking at the time.
The page just needs my journaling on the left side. I haven't completed that part.

Cards4Cancer

I made a batch of cards for cancer patients for Cards4Cancer group. This is a few of the cards.

A fun card. The snowflake was stamped. Then I used stickels to highlight it. I also used bling. Cute Quickutz penguin.
Another birthday card. I used watercolor pencils to color the floweres. I used a Fiskars punch to create the brown border

A birthday card using Spellbinders poinsetta cutters.

This Year's Christmas Card

Another glittery card. I created this one with a stamp of the candles. I glittered the candles, colored the leaves with Copic markers and added bling berries and Stickles for the flames. All was placed on a glitter paper. The background is an evergreen paper even though it looks quite dark.

Joanna's Birthday Card

Here's another birthday card with my favorite...GLITTER! This is a House Mouse stamped card. I colored the stamping with colored pencils and then added glitter to the dandelion seeds.

Jackie's Brithday Card

This card was created using the Happy Birthday Revolution Die from Quickutz and the cat was cut on my new Cricut Expression.
I had to add the bling eyes and glitter to the hat. You can never have too much bling! My niece really liked it.
